$GUI, the community token on Aptos, has been transparent to the core. $GUI has a bunch of contributors and no team, so we don’t share any team allocation for the guys working in the background to make it the best community token on Aptos.

Since the inception of the token, GUI has been airdropped to over 25000 wallets across NFT and DeFi ecosystems and communities, and we have been sharing about each on our social media channels. At the same time, the DeFi protocols on Aptos also do their part of communicating with their communities when they get the airdrop. For some of these user communities, we did the airdrop ourselves. The tokens left unlocked for partnerships and active stakers and user allocation only leave the main wallet if we form a partnership with anyone or pay for a service we used for GUI. A small percentage of GUI left from the DeFi and staker allocation is not sent to any protocol, but since it was the initial unlock, it stays in the wallet.
It’s just the beginning for $GUI as a community token, and we have close to 30000 holders already within the first 15 days of the token launch. We also aim to have GUI integrations and partnerships in every product in Aptos and outside the chain. The fundamentals we have with the token are to push the Aptos ecosystem and the technology it brings — the incredible ecosystem and community the chain has built in the past 12 months.
